OSU & Welcome
Thank You for visiting kyokushin.net.au. As head instructor I would like to personally thank you for visiting our website and invite you to visit our dojo.
Whether you want to start learning and training in this dynamic martial art or you just want to know more about karate and what it can do for you, I look forward to talking to you.
It excites me to help my students achieve their martial arts goals and the stories they tell me about how much karate helps them in their daily lives is very inspirational.
We have students aged from 3 years old all the way to elderly adults, with classes tailored to suite your age and level of skill and ability.
The success of our students comes from teaching the traditional style of kyokushin as it was taught to me by the founder and master of kyokushin, the legendary Sosai Matsutatsu Oyama.

Testimonials
'When I first started karate I was stacking shelves in a supermarket for a living, unhealthy and not in good shape. Since then I've started a business, bought a house in an inner Melbourne suburb and at 42 years old, physically and mentally in the best shape I've ever been in my entire life. I've met and trained with some great people. Kyokushin Karate has changed my life and helped me in so many ways. Thanks to Shihan Eddie'.
Derick Mildred. Shodan.
'Kyokushin Karate has shown me different points of view, both of myself and of the world around me.
The challenges and the discipline of kyokushin training has shown me strengths and weaknesses within myself, including latent ones, and shown me how to develop strengths and overcome weaknesses.
The rewards include a better understanding both of myself, and of others. That better understanding has increased my confidence and my ability to deal with people and to adapt to situations both within the kyokushin way and outside of it.
Kyokushin never stops challenging you. No sooner do you overcome a challenge than a new one presents itself: one that you may not have anticipated. However, your past training is always enough to overcome the new challenge, if you have the energy and the desire to do so. The rewards, including increased confidence, strength and adaptability, continue to accrue for as long as you persist'.
Jeremy Walsh. Shodan.
